Not the kind of place to find the most advanced weapons scientist in the galaxy. Things go well, relatively, and Adrian and Kali finally have time to develop the relationship they didn’t think possible. Adrian and Bryce even start up their own fix-it business. My review: I have read a lot of different types of scifi so I think that somewhat of an authority on the subject. It was refreshing to find a new take on the genre because this book has a lot of depth and layers. The characters are well developed and the two main characters come from completely different places but their common predicament brings them together to deal with the life they are currently dealt. I liked The Rebels a little more than The Empire, it seemed to flow better and keep your interest a little more. I definitely joy both books and I am looking forward to reading the 3rd book to see how the story progresses. A solid 3 1/2 stars from me.
